Academia Nacional de Ingeniería – Ing. Arturo J. Bignoli Prize
The object of this Prize is to distinguish an engineer who has developed his professional activities in Argentina, with an outstanding performance in his works as well as in technical or scientific research, publications, or university teaching, in a field of engineering and whose activity has become an exceptional contribution to the progress of the country reaching international significance, being considered as a lifetime award.

Ing. Luis A. Huergo Prize
The National Academy of Engineering created this prize in memory of Ing. Luis A. Huergo, who was the first argentine engineer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, eminent public man and notorious citizen. The object of this prize is to distinguish the author of a work published or presented in a technical reunion of high relevance, as a personal contribution that shows creativity and special merit for the advancement of engineering. The author has to be graduated from a University recognized by the Government.
